HIQ Hospitality
Increase guest comfort while reducing operational costs. A comprehensive, single-platform solution developed
by Robotina for hospitality properties.
What is HIQ Hospitality ?
One Connected Platform for the Entire Hotel
HIQ Hospitality integrates GRMS for guest rooms and CAMS for common areas, covering access, HVAC, lighting, shading, energy logic and EV charging.
Both can be extended with BMS and EMS on the same open Robotina technology platform, while open interfaces connect external systems such as PMS, housekeeping and guest journey applications into one reliable flow of information across the hotel.

GRMS IQ – Intelligent Room Control
From check-in and room access to housekeeping, maintenance and energy management, every interaction becomes part of one connected guest and operational journey.
A Guest Room That Adapts to Every Stay
Every guest has different preferences. HIQ coordinates lighting, temperature, shading and room scenes through elegant wall panels or directly from a mobile web interface.
No application download is required – guests scan a QR code and access intuitive room controls.
From a welcome scene on arrival to a relaxing evening atmosphere, every interaction is designed to feel natural and effortless.

Comfort Meets Efficiency
Traditional hotel systems often use a key-card holder as a substitute for real occupancy. HIQ combines door status, presence detection, open-window monitoring, reservation data and configurable room logic to determine actual room occupancy.
This enables HVAC and lighting to reduce unnecessary consumption without compromising comfort, while providing reliable real-time occupancy information to housekeeping and other connected hotel systems.
Access That Feels Invisible
The guest experience begins before the room door opens.
HIQ supports RFID cards, PIN codes, QR codes, allowing each hotel to choose the model that fits its operations.
Because access is connected with GRMS, PMS and hotel workflows, the room can prepare for arrival, permissions can follow the reservation, and staff access remains secure and centrally managed.
Room Communicates with the Hotel
Every action inside the room becomes useful operational data. HIQ shares real-time DND, MUR, SOS, occupancy, access, temperature and alarm information with reception, housekeeping and maintenance.
Teams respond faster, room status follows the guest journey, and events are recorded centrally for analysis, service improvement and future AI-assisted optimization.
Powering Daily Hotel Operations
S-RMS
Local Control. Reliable Fallback
A standalone on-premises application licensed with the HIQ system. It enables detailed configuration and management of GRMS and CAMS devices while giving reception and operations teams a real-time overview of room statuses, devices, alarms and guest requests. Operating directly on the local network, S-RMS remains available as a reliable fallback even if the internet or cloud connection is unavailable. Its API also supports direct integration with other hotel systems.
Beyond the Guest Room
Guest Room Management (GRMS) is only one part of a connected hotel. Common areas, including lobbies, restaurants, conference rooms, wellness facilities, corridors, technical rooms and outdoor spaces, can be managed through the central BMS or as Common Area Management (CAMS) within the same HIQ platform used for guest rooms. Lighting IQ, HVAC IQ, Access IQ and Charging IQ provide specialized functions across both GRMS and CAMS, creating one consistent operating environment.
Create the right atmosphere in every space
Lighting IQ intelligently manages lighting throughout guest rooms, lobbies, restaurants, conference facilities, wellness areas and outdoor spaces.
From daylight-responsive control to predefined lighting scenes, every environment is optimized for comfort, ambience and energy efficiency.
Energy Efficiency Starts in the Kitchen
Commercial Kitchens Are Among a Hotel’s Largest Energy Consumers
HIQ provides continuous insight into kitchen energy use, coordinates equipment operation and limits peak demand without compromising service quality.
Integrated with room automation, HVAC, EV charging and building energy management, it enables coordinated energy optimization across the entire property, reducing operating costs and improving overall efficiency.
Reduce power peaks and demand charges.
Monitor consumption across kitchen equipment.
Optimize energy use without affecting operations.
